Bettman speaks about the OLN deal

At least OLN appears to be trying to innovate w/ their impending NHL broadcasts with the addition of an HD channel (which hopefully will show up on Directv), internet streaming, video on demand and new cameras and behind the scenes access.
Whether anyone will actually see these innovations remains to be seen. But as a hockey fan I look forward to seeing what they've got.
"It will allow hockey fans to see a whole new game and get closer to hockey than ever before,'' Bettman said. ``This is so cool. We're really looking forward to it."

I checked out the link to "Off Wing Opinion" at the left of the page and they have a very good post about what Comcast plans to do with NHL coverage. It sounds really exciting. Bettman, as well as the fans, have reason to be excited.
