Ryan Malone Signed to a One Year Deal

Malone is a good young player. He scored 20 goals last year for the Pens and hopefully he can continue to play good hockey this year in what will probably be a diminished role.
Next up to be signed are Orpik, Croz, and Mario. Plus there are still many free agents out there, guys like Marchment, Andreychuk, Ron Francis, Damphousse, who are still unemployed.

I kind of forgot about Ronnie Franchise. They should bring him in as a second line center. I think he has enough left to be a solid contributor for a year until they can get Malkin. If they would sign him and a solid defensive d-man, I think they would be set.
