No Cubes for you! Cuban, Marino deal rejected

It looks like the angst will continue. According to TSN.ca the Penguins rejected the offer from Dan Marino, Mark Cuban and New York Businessman Andrew Murstein (you know the group that actually wants to keep the team in Pittsburgh?) ,

Instead the fronrunner looks like the guy from Hartford that has talked about moving the team to Kansas City. This is not to be confused with the group headed by the guy from Mass that wants to move the team to Hartford. (You'd think the guy from Hartford would actually want to move the team to Hartford but then again you'd think the current owners would want to sell the team to someone that wanted to keep the team in Pittsburgh.I digress.)

Looks like they want to get the sale finalized before the new season so hopefully we'll know where they'll end up soon.

Some day it would be nice to root for a hockey team whose future isn't in constant question.
